Sometimes One Small Shift Is Enough

I just met with a dating coach who said her specialty is helping people show up a little differently. And honestly, isn’t that a relief?

Not a complete personality overhaul. Not dyeing your hair blonde. Not starting over.

Just one small shift that could make a meaningful difference. I’ve seen this so many times in my own life.

One simple purchase of a Fitbit, and suddenly I’m walking outside every day and hitting 10,000 steps at least four days a week.

Opening a window has led to more reading and journaling on the couch, where I can hear the wind rustling through the trees. It brings peace to my heart and soul.

Even a new boss at work has brought back energy and enthusiasm I hadn’t realized was missing.

That’s the thing about small changes. They don’t always look life changing. A walk. An open window. A different conversation. A fresh perspective.

And yet, sometimes that is all it takes.

What a relief to know we don’t always have to become someone entirely new. Sometimes we just need to show up a little differently.

Try this ONE thing

What is one tiny change you could make today that would bring you a little more peace, energy, joy, or ease? Do that — and notice what shifts.
