It’s easy to let the opinions of others shape how you see yourself. Sometimes, a careless comment or a critical glance can plant seeds of doubt that grow into limiting beliefs. But here’s the truth: no one knows your journey, your strengths, or your dreams better than you do.
When you bet on yourself, you choose to trust your own potential over the negative or narrow views others may hold. This doesn’t mean you ignore feedback or never self-reflect. It means you refuse to let someone else’s limited perspective define your worth or dictate your future.
Everyone faces moments of self-doubt. The key is to acknowledge those feelings but not invite them to stay. Remind yourself of your accomplishments, your resilience, and the unique gifts you bring to the world. Surround yourself with people who see your value and cheer you on, but most importantly, become your own biggest supporter.
When you feel yourself slipping into self-doubt because of someone else’s words or actions, pause and ask: “Is this really true, or am I letting someone else’s story become my own?” Choose to bet on yourself. You are more than enough, just as you are. And when you believe in yourself, you open the door to possibilities that others can’t even imagine.

Try this ONE thing
Next time you catch yourself doubting your abilities because of someone else’s opinion, list three things you’re proud of accomplishing. Let that be your reminder to keep betting on yourself.
Want to experience coaching? I like to start with a deep, get-to-know-you conversation to see if we are right for each other. Sometimes we talk for one or two hours at no charge. I have no goal except to bring about transformation. Together we work on the lies, the self-deception, the fears of the power you perceive to be outside yourself. We work on your on your difficulties in making decisions and your inability thus far to make bold choices in life and to follow through and trust yourself completely to do so.
The irony for some people is that the very thing that they want the coaching for (an indecisive, half-hearted life) is what’s keeping them from deciding whether to get coaching.
