Am I Training Myself To Notice Negative Things?

I’ve caught myself lately giving a lot of airtime to what’s not working. A small inconvenience, a disappointing interaction, something not going to plan—and suddenly that’s where my attention goes.
And yet, when I pause, I can see that on those very same days, good things are happening too:
A timely message
An easy resolution
A patch of sunshine
Something lining up without effort.
None of these are dramatic. But they’re not nothing.
It makes me wonder how often I’m unintentionally scanning for what’s wrong, instead of staying open to good luck, small miracles, and quiet moments of grace that are already present.
Maybe joy isn’t always about changing our circumstances. Maybe it’s about widening our focus. Because where we place our attention tends to shape our experience—and life reliably gives us more of whatever we’re looking for.

Try this ONE thing
Today, notice just one small thing that goes right. Pause when you see it. And let yourself really take it in.
