How To Allow Yourself to Embrace the Magic of Allowing
I’ve been working on this for a while and I’m getting this now.
It’s not about being passive or giving up or being lazy.
It is about focusing on things that make you happy and sitting in silence occasionally.
When I am quiet that’s when I ‘hear’ answers, insights, and solutions.
One of the things I’d like to do is lose the Covid weight. I’ve struggled with motivation, knee problems and I just really like chocolate way more than vegetables.
Then coincidentally I ran into a neighbour who has dropped 30 pounds since I last saw her and she looks great. How did she do it? Keto. I’d heard of it but didn’t really know much about it. She gave me the name of an expert to Google and gave me a quick overview. The more I listened and the more I researched, I realized this was something I could totally do. I love protein and nuts and eggs, broccoli is one of my favourite vegetables (perhaps my only favourite, if I’m honest).
The week before talking to my neighbour, I’d read an article about weight loss that talked about making your diet more consistent and limiting foods to only a few choices.
I allowed both ideas to collide and gave it a try. I’ve been on Keto for 12 days; I’m loving it and finding t easy to maintain.
Try this ONE thing
The key is that I didn’t go looking for this idea. I didn’t make a great effort to find a solution. I didn’t spend a ton of energy stressing about this. I just let in to answers that were already there.
