Never Be Careful What You Wish For

I have this saying in a framed picture I picked up years ago from Indigo (a Canadian bookstore). I love the saucy, irreverent way of flipping upside down that old admonition to “be careful what you wish for”.

Wish for what you want, wish like crazy, wish like a 3 year old, tell everyone else your wishes. Wishes are joyous hopes for wonderful things. Why should we be careful about them?

We should name them and then claim them boldly!

Try this ONE thing

Close your eyes and make a wish. Then open your eyes and immediately write it down, quickly before your rational mind and your mother’s voice tell you it’s not possible.

Keep it nearby and keep wishing for it. Then tell me what happens.

P.S. If you’re wishing for your ideal job, be one of 8 women to sign up for my inaugural FREE class on creating the job you’d love. Sign up here saying “I’m in Karen!”.
